Celebration
of the Day of St. Jadwiga Queen
8 June
2005
For the second time, our
Patron’s Day (8 June) was celebrated during the mass in St. Patrick’s
Cathedral in Melbourne.
At the beginning of the Mass, Father (whose roots are Polish) gave short
presentation about St. Jadwig Queen.
Every year, from the initiative of the Queen Jadwiga Foundation, the altar in Wawel
Cathedral (Krakow, Poland) is decorated with
bouquets of red roses
