Celebration
of the Day of St. Jadwiga Queen
8 June
2004
From the QJF initiative, for the first time the
St. Jadwiga’s Day (8 June) was celebrated during the Mass in the beautiful
neo-gothic St. Patrick’s Cathedral in Melbourne.
Every year, from the initiative of the Queen
Jadwiga Foundation, the altar in Wawel Cathedral (Krakow, Poland) is
decorated with bouquets of red roses.
