1st MEETING OF QUEEN JADWIGA’S FAMILY OF SCHOOLS

Cracow, Poland (8-9 June 2007)

On 8 June 2007, on the occasion of 10th anniversary of Queen Jadwiga’s canonization, took place the 1st Meeting of the Family of Schools of St. Jadwiga Queen. On this occasion, during the Mass in the Wawel Cathedral, the statues-with-pearl were handed over to laureates.

Program of the Meeting

- march through the Kings Way to Wawel Castle (pupils dressed in the XIV century costumes)

- Mass in the Wawel Cathedral

- deposition of flowers at the altar with Queen Jadwiga’s relics

- pupils awarded with Queen Jadwiga’s little pearls (statues)

- march through Queen Jadwiga’s trail

- Knights’ tournament
