ST. JADWIGA’S DAY - CELEBRATION IN THE
WAWEL CATHEDRAL
Elaborated by M. Les
Decoration of the altar in the Wawel Cathedral on the occasion of celebration of St
Jadwiga’s day on 8 June each year
became a tradition of the Queen
Jadwiga Foundation.
Several bunches of the red roses, each with the
beautiful ribbon representing the QJF chapter from Australia,
France, Germany
and Poland
respectively, were sent
to the Wawel Cathedral. The pictures below show
the beautiful decoration of the altar where there is Jadwiga’s Cross and
the urn with Jadwiga’s ashes.
